Ascension is partnering with GE HealthCare for a strategic collaboration aimed at improving diagnostic capabilities and operational efficiency across the health system's national network of care sites.
The agreement brings a broad range of GE HealthCare imaging and ultrasound technologies — including CT, MR, X-ray, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound systems used in cardiovascular, women’s health, general imaging, and point-of-care applications — into Ascension facilities. The partnership is expected to support faster scan times, shorten patient wait periods, and improve diagnostic accuracy.
Eduardo Conrado, president of Ascension, said the collaboration is part of a broader effort to equip clinicians with the tools they need to deliver timely and effective care. “GE HealthCare brings advanced technology and expertise that make a real difference for our patients and our teams,” Conrado said. “Together, we are taking important steps to improve care, drive new solutions, and deliver better results for the people who rely on us.”

Catherine Estrampes, president and CEO, U.S. and Canada at GE HealthCare, described the partnership as “a shared investment in advancing technology and care delivery.”
The multiyear initiative will also focus on enhancing patient experience and safety, with both organizations planning to explore additional opportunities to expand access to care in key markets. Further details on implementation timelines and specific deployment sites were not disclosed.
