Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) has partnered with Glassbeam Inc. to pilot an analytics platform aimed at improving imaging uptime and utilization across its five hospitals and multiple outpatient locations.

The pilot program will be implemented across NGHS’ Glassbeam suite of tools: Clinsights, Service Analytics, and Utilization Analytics. It uses data from machine logs, DICOM, HL7, RIS, and EMR systems to optimize imaging operations. Key objectives include reducing downtime, anticipating repair needs through predictive analytics, and increasing patient throughput.

NGHS provides care for over 1 million people annually.
"The ability to monitor devices in real time to anticipate service needs, along with analytics to improve operating costs and patient access, has the potential to make a huge difference for both our patients and our bottom line," said Stuart Bracken, managing director for Northeast Georgia Health Ventures, which is part of NGHS. Glassbeam, based in Santa Clara, California, specializes in predictive analytics for medical devices, serving clients including Stanford University and NewYork-Presbyterian.
