Qure.ai has partnered with Microsoft to broaden access to its lung cancer detection and management tools in the United States by integrating its suite of FDA-cleared AI solutions into Microsoft’s Precision Imaging Network, a cloud-based platform aimed at streamlining imaging workflows across hospitals and health systems.

The collaboration is expected to simplify deployment of Qure.ai’s tools, enabling health providers to adopt early detection, triage, and tracking capabilities with greater ease. According to the Palo Alto, California-based company, its platform supports clinical coordination across radiology, pulmonology, and thoracic surgery teams, with the goal of shortening the time from detection to treatment.

“The Qure.ai and Microsoft collaboration brings new levels of choice and simplicity for hospitals and health systems across the USA,” said Jim Mercadante, chief commercial officer at Qure.ai. “It will power-up access to early detection, triage and tracking to improve patient care, boost survival rates and reduce overall healthcare costs.”

Qure.ai’s lung cancer suite includes tools for incidental nodule detection on chest X-rays (qXR-LN), quantitative analysis on CT scans (qCT-LN Quant), and coordination of patient management (qTrack). These solutions are built using large language models and other forms of generative AI, and can be deployed individually or as a unified system.

Peter Durlach, corporate vice president and chief strategy officer at Microsoft Health and Life Sciences, said the integration “will help health systems unlock new levels of efficiency, from faster detection and diagnosis to more coordinated multidisciplinary care.”

Qure.ai’s technology is currently in use at more than 4,800 sites across over 100 countries. The company reports 19 FDA clearances for products related to lung and neurocritical conditions. In 2025, it was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies for its work in applying AI to global health challenges.
