Konica Minolta at RSNA 2024
Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas Inc., has announced a strategic partnership with Gleamer, a European developer of AI solutions for X-ray imaging, that will integrate Gleamer’s BoneView software into the imaging OEM's portfolio of digital radiography (DR) systems.
BoneView, a clinical decision support tool for musculoskeletal imaging, uses AI to identify bone fractures on X-ray images. The FDA-cleared software highlights areas of interest with confidence levels, such as a 90% probability for a suspected fracture.
Konica Minolta will offer BoneView as a subscription-based cloud service for its DR systems, including the KDR Advanced U-Arm, KDR Flex Overhead X-ray System, and mKDR Xpress Mobile X-ray.

The software has been validated in 80 clinical studies and featured in nearly 25 peer-reviewed publications, making it one of the most extensively studied tools of its kind. Notably, BoneView is the only AI-powered solution approved for certain pediatric anatomical areas.
