Press releases may be edited for formatting or style | September 01, 2023 Parts And Service

In Germany, the Braunschweig technical program addresses antenna measurement techniques, a key area of interest for PTB, Germany’s National Metrology Laboratory. Joining Mr. Chen are invited speakers Mr. Lewis and Roland Moch with RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany. Speakers from PTB on the program include Thomas Kleine-Ostmann and David Ulm. The speakers will address advances in computational capabilities that allow for the application of numerical techniques such as near-to-far-field transformation and correction algorithms in antenna calibration.

There is no charge to attend these workshops; however, advance registration is required, as space is limited. For more information, including presentation titles, abstracts, speaker biographies, and to register for The Netherlands workshop, click here. For the Germany workshop, please contact Mrs. Pamela Bürger, pamela.buerger@ptb.de, phone +49 592 2201, for more information and to register.

"We are happy to support these workshops and share not only ETS-Lindgren’s expertise, but that of industry experts from Kiwa, PTB, and Boeing. In addition, we have a unique contribution from academia with the participation of speakers from KU Leuven and RWTH Aachen University," said Janet O’Neil, Customer Relations Manager at ETS-Lindgren. "The partnership between industry and academia is what drives technology forward – it’s exciting to see how these contributions complement each other in the workshop technical programs. If you are near the Apeldoorn or Braunschweig area, I hope to see you at one of these workshops!”
