Additionally, the monitors’ clone output feature allows for simultaneous viewing on a secondary display with various display settings switched on such as A.I.M.E. or PIP, which is especially beneficial for surgical training and education. This also allows users to easily record the same content being viewed. The resolution of the clone-output can be selected from 4K or HD, depending on usage.

The LMD-XH320MT is planned to be available in November and the LMD-HX550MT in spring 2023. The displays are expected to be exhibited in Sony’s booth at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons’ Annual Meeting, October 8-12 in San Francisco and the American College of Surgeons’ Clinical Congress 2022, October 16-20 in San Diego.
