Cerner clears hurdle in acquisition of Siemens Health Services

In an update to a story we first reported on last month , Cerner announced that it has cleared a regulatory hurdle, when the waiting period required under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 was granted early termination.

Although this is a step forward in the acquisition process, the deal is still supposed to be finalized in the first quarter of 2015.
