Business & Legal Resources has acquired the HCPro and HealthLeaders media brands. The deal was announced by the investment firm Berkery Noyes, which led the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.
According to Tom O'Connor, managing director at Berkery Noyes, the deal is a move into health care for BLR. BLR is a legal compliance and human resources provider, which is similarly aligned with HCPro as a health care regulation and compliance group.

It serves its audience of health care professionals with the same passion and commitment that drives the team at BLR," said BLR CEO Dan Oswald. "Bringing these two companies together allows us to continue to expand our business as the leader in compliance information, training, and related solutions."

HCPro and HealthLeaders have been owned by the private equity group Halyard Capital since 2008.
