Hi, I went to visit my friend in Philadelphia, takes about 2 hours from NYC, last weekend. First of all, Philadelphia is famous for many things - Benjamin Franklin, The Liberty Bell, The Franklin Institute Science Museum, Independence Hall and so on - a historical city.

There is University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, which was founded in 1765 as the nation's first medical school. U.S. News & World Report ranks it among the nation's top 10. And also, The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania was established in 1874 as the nation's first teaching hospital.

I especially liked the atmosphere of South Street because lots of shops and restaurants are based on Hip style. There is a popular place to taste Philly Cheesesteak named Jim's Steaks on the street. I saw too many people were waiting in the line to get into the shop, and, needless to say, I was also there...I guess waiting extra minutes made us more hungry and the sandwich taste much better!

At the night, I enjoyed being along Schuylkill River, where Boathouse Row had lights. I felt like I was in fairyland since the lights just amazed me a lot. I found the website has some beautiful pictures of the Boathouse's Row. Click here and imagine if you were there! Boathouse Row
