Brown also stated CORAR identified some needs to be addressed in any long-term solutions including: site security; proximity of reactor and isotope processing; a defined and approved disposal path for processing radioactive by-products; manufacturing and processing sites having adequate access to a well-developed transportation network; LEU fuel and targets in reactor operation, and a knowledgeable and empathetic regulatory environment.
