SonoSite, Inc., the world leader and specialist in hand-carried ultrasound for the point-of-care has appointed John S. Bowers, Jr. Senior Vice President of Strategic Development and Patient Safety Innovations.

Bowers has more than 20 years of experience in the medical technology industry and has held many general management, business development and sales management leadership roles. He served as president and CEO of Northstar Neuroscience, Inc., most recently.

Bowers holds a bachelor's degree in Economics-Accounting from Gonzaga University and earned his M.B.A from Harvard University.
