This is a portable data controller used in conjunction with the MARS (ver. 7 and above) cardio assessment system using SEER 24 and 48 hour Holter recorders. It allows the patient's Holter data to be received in the field and recorded onto a flash drive via an infrared WIRELESS connection or by removing the SEER Recorder flashcard, inserting it into the Controller viewing it and selectively copying it. The Controller records time, date, patient and waveform data. These variables can be viewed on its backlit display. The data can be transferred to a Holter Analysis System by way of the flash card it is recorded on. This can also be accomplished directly from a SEER Holter recorder to a MARS workstation using a SEER Connect module, however this requires the recorder be in the vicinity of the workstation. The SER Light Extend Controller is meant to help avoid this.

This controller appears to be in good physical and functional condition and is warranted to pass inspection on delivery without significant faults.
