We have installed a new (Used condition) tube on GE Sytec 2000 ct scanner, all the things going alright, like KV go upto 120, but MA did not increase, ma meter show 0 but i have selected 40ma but when i select 60MA, the meter shows 20 ma some time and some time not, so is there any adjustment need?It also shows the captured image of phentom on monitor.
I suspect one of your high voltage tanks is bad or you have a blown fuse somewhere. What does the waveform look like for both sides. You must have a bleeder to do this.
You probably have a low filament output. If the "new" tube is not from the same manufacturer like GE?Dunle then there may easily be a mismatch in filament output. This is very common when changing a GE tube with a Dunlee. The filamnet characteristics are not the same.
I am located just across the Gulf from you guys if you need help.
Dear Sir, i thanks all people who reply my post,we have solved the problem by adjusting the FIL0,FIL1 and FIL2 variables and ct is working good now.
Thanks your people again.

Check your HV cables. Maybe they are connected opposite. Cathode to cathode and Anode to anode. Otherwise I will suspect the tube.
