I´m trying to connect my laptop to the generator cabinet by means of a null modem cable and Siemens service software. But It shows a comunication error. Could anyone tell me what I´m doing wrong?

Where are you connecting? Does the Vxxxx software on your laptop match the Vxxxx software on the generator?
