hello Kaushal !
the main problém is with devilbiss 505:
the concentration of O² is 23% , compressor seems good but i do suspect the 3 way valves to be defective because the membrane with holes opposite to the "push side" is hard and dry.
i try to make news ones by punching holes in "push side" membranes i have in spares.
in your opinion , how much is the good presure at the entrance and output of the sieves ?
is it possible that the sieves are clogged ?

thanks a lot

Hello Jean:
Most of these machine work with an income pressure of 150psi. Inside the pressure must be regulated to 90psi because excesive pressure may damage the zeolita (sieves. Air had to be filtered and des humidified BEFORE reach concentrator.

A defective valve (no damaged at 100% that is easy to recognize)cause a lost of concentration but no to 23%. I think zeolite is damaged or cloged.
Release all pressure and open the purge nut located in downside of the thank(s), allows system work and see if any liquid (water or oil) flow from thanks. If not close nut again and verify no leaks remain.

check the electro valves carefully. there is a right way to assembly it that is different en each mark. Consult the web with the part number of the valve, probably you will find the data sheet. Sometimes it just need be cleaned.
Do you use a dry air compressor?,
If output pressure is ok, then filters are not clogged, (it may be bad but no clogged)

Let me know if I can help a little more. Sorry I have not technical data for this machine but almost work in the same way

Jose

thank you Jose for these usefull informations.
this morning i received a PB 492 with poor O² concentration , and , according to your post , i belive the output pressure of the compressor is too low. so i open the compressor head and , bingo! the seal and sleeves where obviousely very dammaged.
i found inside the machine a maintenance log : last service 1999 , at 15000 hours. now , with 32000 hours and 10 years after , i think it is time to do a big maintenance !!

thanks so much.
