OEC 9800 iris pot replacement procedure

Your going to need the RUT software and cable to connect to the workstation to do the iris calibration here is a sample from the service manual adjustments which are done with the software-
1. Uncheck the Show Circular Mask box.
2. Click the Calibrate Mag Modes button.
3. At the Collimator Iris Calibration - MAG2 window, make a MAG2 Fluoro exposure and position the flats of the Collimator Iris blades between the C rings of the BAFT image that appears on the left monitor (see the following illustration).
4. At the Collimator Iris Calibration - MAG1 window, make a MAG1 Fluoro exposure and position the flats of the Collimator Iris blades between the B rings of the BAFT as it appears on the left monitor. (Refer to the previous illustration.)
5. Click Calibrate Normal mode.
6. At the Collimator Iris Calibration - NORMAL window, make a Normal Fluoro exposure and position the flats of the Collimator Iris blades until no more than 1.5 mm of any Iris blade is visible (only some blades may be visible). Click OK
when finished.
7. At the Collimator Leaves Calibration window, open collimator leaves until they are just outside the visible image. Click
OK.
