logiq 3 back-end processor not always booting

I replaced a hard drive on a logiq 3 expert I found the software at the office (BEP and application 4.0.2.) and reloaded it.
Darn thing works most of the time but when I put all the panels on and turn the main switch on the scanner fires but when pressing the on-off button the PC does not start up.
When I disconnect all power open the PC remove the BIOS jumper for a second and put it back on pin 1-2 (normal operation) and press the power button the pc starts up just fine.
When testing it might start 4-5 times and then stops again.
Anybody seen that before? also what are the recommended BIOS settings with BEP4 installed (this machine has not been used in a long time)

Dear Lucas, hi!
I suspect BEP's motherboard has some blown capacitors, the behaviour you're mentioning seems to point to this kind of failure.
Also, reattach the processor and memory combs, check overall motherboard's integrity.
