We just replaced the x-ray tube on a 9800 after having tube arcs with "mA too low" messages. Now we are getiing "mA too high, Press any key to proced" when doing small anatomy ( ankle/leg ). Any ideas on what to do to correct this would be appreciated, 920-320-3339 shop, 905-3339 cell.
I've since ran diags to get a couple of errors indicating the Fil_B sen failure, as well as charging_B battery. I'm not sure if this two problems and which bd.(s) to replace; Generator cntrl or Filament cntrl(driver).
Thanks for the info, I ended up finding one of the priliminary null adjustments was off (outside of + - 1.5mV); after adjusting and running the mA cals again it stopped the errors at very low fluoro mA.
