Error 606 means Host and SIP computers can not communicate. What cart level is your system? possible causes for carts A,B and C: firewire cable, Dolphin IPl cards and cable, Sip motherboard, battery, memory, HDs or software on SIP computer. You may need reinstall software on Host and SIP.

What does the iu22 do?Does it start loads until number 9 in the down left corner and then gives you the message 606?

You have a communication error.You can first check the firewire connection between host and ship i always change the firewire cable because the original does not connect firmly.If that does not work you have problem with hdd.You can try to reload the software but if that does not work you will have to change the hdd,either the two ship or the host.
