There is a failure after scanning. There is no scouts after scanning. And the new patient do not creating in the scanning frame. System write errors via DASM DIAG procedure in Service Menu: result: Host computer did not detect DASM (scsi ID 3) at last boot up. What it can be?
during DASM diag. the system analyzes the following: hinv, scsistat, showdasm and rsp. Under scsistat, it checks the SCSI Bus, connectors and SCSI ID. First make sure that your DASM is powered and being run. Check on the led status of the DASM on the peripheral box in the OC. If you have a service manual, then check that you have the right led status for all most especially image transfer on the DASM-VDB. WHAT IS THE DASM START-UP ERROR VALUE? I think you have lost your DASM as they are not powered up, so check the connectors.
Hello, Craig! Is there the DASM based on the Linux PC 865 that named Recon? The Recon connected to the Host via Ethernet. The Host PC has two SATA HDD connected via USB to SATA adapter. Is DASM some interface between many devices (DAS, Host, Recon, printers, SCSI-bus)?
the DASM VDB (analog interface) and the DASM LCAM (digital interface) are used for filming purposes. CAN YOU PRINT?
With linux 865, the DASM via the Bit3 Backplane card to the SCSI. the DASM on this host is for 'Laser camera interface' and not recon.
the RECON engine runs through NPRIF (Interface), NPRM (Master) and NPRS (slave). they also are connected to the Bit3 Backplane Card.
Since you have problems with DASM and RECON, check your backplane card. you may need replacement.

Thanks a lot! We reinstalled the software on the new HDDs and reconfigured the Laser Camera (Kodak 8150) and the CT is now working.
