My acuson 128/10XP displays pink colour on the monitor during boot up and fades gradually into black and white.
The unit also take long time to boot up.
Any help please?
hello, you refer to the self-test that the unit does every time it is switched on, I feel normal. if you have errors please report.
self-test lasts approximately 6 minutes, introduced color to fit the monitor and others.
If all else is working OK and you aren't getting any errors, then it most likely that your monitor is failing.
The system takes a while to boot-up normally, the first time each day. If you turn it off and then power it on again, it should boot up faster. (It runs the full Power-Up Tests once per day.) You can also press and hold the "I" key as you turn the system on and it will skip the Power-Up Tests.
I forgot to mention an important reminder. Make sure you have recorded the Encryption Codes for the system, in the likely event you will need to reload them at some point. Siemens has not supported this system for several years and they will probably not be able to help you get them.
You get to the service menu by using the "Maslak four-fingered salute" of Test-Shift-Code-V, pressing them in order and holding each key down as you press the next one.
