More weight for healthcare provider ratings
Our users asked us to change the DOTmed 5-Star Rating System and give more weight to ratings from healthcare providers because, as end-users, they are in the best position to evaluate a dealer's products and services. Found out 45 days after my ATV accident that I fractured my scaphoid bone. Doctors said the best thing to do was to have surgery before it was too late and there would be permanent damage. I decided to wait and see how it healed. In addition to the $300 brace, they wanted me to purchase a bone stimulator for $2700. Of course, I said NO. After that appt. I scoured the internet for bone stimulators. What I found out was that you can rent bone stimulators. Who knew? The doctor's office never mentioned that. Hence, my relationship with Mountain Family was born. When I went back a month later for follow up X-rays, the doctor couldn't stop raving that my healing was incredible, that she'd never seen anything like it. The bones were aligned and you almost couldn't see the break any longer. Needless to say, bone stimulators work and I am forever grateful to Mountain Family for being so informative, helpful and courteous. I am all healed up now. All my recommendations to you!

Subacute fracture of the 3rd metatarsal. Words no one, especially a runner, wants to hear. Since my insurance would not cover the Exogen system, I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon Ross and Mountain Family Products.
At my 4 week follow up, my dr was very happy with how my bone was healing & that I will be able to start running again in 2 weeks! I was surprised to hear this! I thought it would be at least 2 months before I could attempt any sort of running. Especially from talking with fellow runners who had a similar (if not less severe) injury. I give a lot of credit to my speedy healing to the Exogen system.
Ross was a pleasure to deal with, he contacted me shortly after I inquired about the machine. Despite it being a Friday, he made sure to get it in the mail so it would reach me quickly. I hope to never be in this situation again, but if I do ever need an Exogen system or know anyone personally that does, I know where to send them!
