A new OEM repair company will build on the success of a family-owned and operated parts company.

Eric Probst, part of the Technical Prospects family, which services Siemens' equipment, announced that his new business, which officially got underway Jan. 1, 2014, will repair medical imaging systems for all major OEMs.

Probst said his new company, called Action Medical Repair, will repair anything from circuit boards to monitors for major vendors and parts companies.

"We feel anything repairable, depending on costs, we can take care of," Probst told DOTmed News.

He said his staff currently consists of four people, but there are plans to expand as demand grows.

Like Technical Prospects, Action Medical Repair is based in Greenville, Wisc.
