The unit has approximately 500,000 rotations; exact number is being retrieved. The tube only has minimal use. It was replaced about 1.5 years before full decommissioning for a 64 slice scanner, and received only minimal use (3-5 patients per week) during that time.
The scanner was never heavily used; Philips called the unit “light to moderate use” in its service contract.
Included with the unit is also a CT chiller, HOWEVER, the chiller may need service. There were a several instances of the unit shutting off while we used the CT for approximately six years. Engineers figured the issue was that the chiller was fit into the absolute bare minimum and was cause problems with cooling the chiller itself. This had nothing to do with the CT at all. The chiller may work great and it was simply our location; however, please expect to supply your own chiller and hope to be surprised.
