Information Provided By:
The Canon Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera CR6-45NM is capable of taking pictures in a wide field angle (45 degrees) of retinal image without using mydriatics.Various forms of photography can be performed with our optional 35 mm Film Camera CR-RE, with the Dual Polaroid Back Unit CR-PC DUAL, or with the Polaroid Color Bac Unit CR-PC2 attached to the CR6-45NM. 1) Easy Positioning and Focusing

An internal eye fixation lamp lights for the examinee even while you are observing the eye front image, meaning that fixation of the eye is easier
Positioning of the eye can be easily performed by aligning split images of pupil, displayer larger than with our former type of non-mydriatic retinal camera, on the monitor
Also, sharp retinal image can be obtained just by aligning the split bars displayer on the monitor.

The new eye fixation target which is displayed for the examinee while the retinal image is being observed can be moved anywhere just by inclining the fixation target control button. Thus, you caninduce and take a picture of the most appropriate position. Also, the target is enlarged when the button is pressed, making it easier to fix and induce the eye on an examinee who may have had difficultseeing the small target before.

3) Photography of Eye with Strong Myopia or Hyperopia

The new FCD (Flash Compensation Diopter) function allows you to take picture in appropriate brightness even of an eye having strong myopia or hyperopia because the flash intensity is compensated for automatically

4) Photography of Small Pupil

By using the S.P. (Small Pupil) knob, you can take a picture of an eye which is difficult to dilate.
