Ultrasound Bladder Scanner

Urologists, primary care physicians and nurses rely on accurate
imaging of the bladder in order to determine the need for treatment.
The Portascan+ has been designed for use by a variety of carers in a
point-of-care environment where immediate, reliable imaging and
data acquisition is required. Using a Portascan+ can avoid unnecessary
catheterisation, and so lower infection rates.
The Portascan+ is unique with a large real-time screen, a patient
database and the ability to combine ultrasound scans with uroflow
data wirelessly by Bluetooth®.
Simple point-and-freeze operation makes the Portascan+ the scanner
of choice for the busy clinical environment. The Portascan+ calculates
the bladder volume automatically from an ultrasound image.
An in-built thermal printer provides a permanent hard copy printout
of results for accurate record keeping and archiving.
In addition the Portascan+ has Touch-screen length & width
callipers for kidney or other organ measurement, and USB input /
output of data.

Wirelessly integrate Bladder Images,
Uroflows and PSA values:

The versatility of the Portascan has been enhanced in the Portascan+
with the addition of a Mediwatch Portaflow Advanced or Bioscan,
which can wirelessly integrate uroflow or PSA data. Results may be
printed on the in-built thermal printer or sent to a Bluetooth® desktop printer for a full printout of a complete bladder report showing:

- Uroflow graph
- Urinalysis data
- Post void volume
- Uroflow data
- PSA value
