Volume Zoom Problem

November 16, 2014 11:16

CT : Volume Zoom

Tube : Akron B

History : was exchanged inverter, a day later crashed the original tube

Defect : loss of insulation tube, HVC01 test unsuccessfully to 70kV (minimum kv),
with the dummy plug HVC01 test is perfect ( 140 KV)

Repetition : original tube and another two tubes (used, but with low count)
The first tube arrived, I calibrated without problems. By the third exam the problem happened.
The second tube arrived, I calibrated without problems. By the fifth exam the problem happened.

Observation : When the problem occurs, the speed of the anode is too high,
CT remains on standby

Question : which could cause loss of insulation in many tubes ?
