hello all,
i need to do a tube install/calibration on a philips bucky diagnost rad room.any help would be great,do i need software? or is it via the console?
You probably have a optimus 65 generator. The agent software shoul be in the manual along with the pin out for the 9 pin to 25 pin cable. No dongle required. there 2 cables to disconnect in the gen. Everything is adjusted automatically with the software.
The problem is not even the philips engineers want to do this as it sometimes causes errors. Let me know if you can't find the instructions. Check the generator install book.
Bill
this will be an out of state job for me….needles to say if i can get the procedure BEFORE i get there it would be great! i dont know if even is books on site
You don't need IST. AGENT software should be located in the service manuals on 2 floppys and the null modem cable is all you need to bring with your laptop. (Win XP and serial com required)
Dear Bill,
We conected with agent software but we cannot calibrate filament current. I belive that somehow and although the system recognizes its tube, the system has lost x-ray tube parameters.
Is there any procedure to do this?

do you have a optimus generator?
so you need software, cable and dongle to calibrate it.
some things you can do with the console.
kind regards,
klaus

You will also need the IST access in order to run the Agent software.

You may want to find out if the software has been upgraded by Philips, they have done this to us and locked us out.
