ge lunar prodigy advance needs to fit though a small 33" doorway
March 13, 2014 06:51
I have a GE lunar prodigy advance. My door opening is quite small. How much width can it I strip the down the GE lunar prodigy advance? My door opening is only 33 inches wide. Does anyone have a service manual for the unit?

Steven, I can try to get the manual for you, but remember when you take the equipment all apart you have to follow some specific steps otherwise is a pain to align the collimator with the detector.

Hi Steven, that is correct. The systems can be disassembled so that they will fit through almost any doorway. In fact, you can split frame them if necessary. We specialize in these products as I used to work for Lunar. If you would like some assistance feel free to give me a call anytime.

Hi Steven, I am based out of Madison, WI, but have a few FEs in a couple of different locations. We service everywhere. The deinstall/install takes anywhere from about 6-8 hours depending on how extensive the deinstall needs to be due to room configuration. That time includes performing all of the required calibration tests of course.

There are 2, 1/4" bolts, in each corner where the top frame separates from the bottom chassis. The upper and lower sections can then be moved on a dolly through the doorway. This is only necessary if the corners are too short to allow the table to turn.

Yes. Not very. Actually the instructions you require are on the hard drive of every system. They can be found on the D:\Applications\Program Files\enCore\eInstall\Instructions directory in pdf format. They will generally require the system service password to access them. Just work backwards using the install instructions DXAP2000 and DXAP2013. Also now that I have thought about it I think those bolts are 5/16.

Will it be necessary to remove the arm? How difficult is that? Will you be willing to sell me a manual.

You can only obtain that from GE. It is illegal for anyone to transfer software System IDs and Feature Codes from one system to another.
