Parts And Service
DirectMed Parts & Service has become DirectMed Imaging, a change in branding to reflect the company's growing capabilities, and unify its subsidiaries under a singular identity.

The rebrand includes a new logo, visual identity, and the brand concept, "Comprehensive Made Simple."

“Over the past four years, we have had the privilege to combine four outstanding companies, expand our offerings, and transform into a more comprehensive supplier,” said Brad de Koning, CEO of the California-based company. “The DirectMed companies together form a powerful partnership that provides immediate, expansive, and dependable solutions to the medical imaging community. When suppliers need parts and expertise, it’s important that they understand our wide-ranging offerings so they can find us, move quickly, and keep their systems running.”

The company, which offers aftermarket medical imaging parts, systems, and training, has recently added LBN Medical, ScanMed, and Technical Prospects to the fold. Each acquisition provides the company with unique capabilities.

  • With over 50 employees in Denmark and Egypt, LBN resells complete aftermarket diagnostic imaging systems and parts from over 15 manufacturers, including Canon, GE, Hologic, Siemens and Philips.

  • Based in Omaha, Nebraska, ScanMed is an OEM-certified company with a proven record of designing and repairing coils for GE Healthcare, Siemens, Philips, and Canon/Toshiba systems, among others. The company’s proprietary coils include the Procure prostate coil, pediatric blanket and brain coils, spine, vascular, and several extremity coils.

  • Technical Prospects is a Wisconsin-based supplier of parts and coverage for CT, MR, cath-angio, C-arms, X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography equipment.
DirectMed Imaging has unified its subsidiaries, by updating these companies' logos and branding to match its new brand identity. The new DirectMed Imaging brand is on full display at RSNA.
