Hugh P. Chisholm, CPA, FHFMA, has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for Kaleida Health.

Chisholm is currently the senior vice president and CFO of acute care hospitals for Rochester Regional Health (RRH). In this role, he is responsible for leadership and coordination of all financial aspects relative to hospital and the health system reporting for the $3+ billion healthcare system. This includes directing aspects of annual budgets, monthly variance reporting, monthly financial statements, cost accounting, annual audit and tax returns, multi-year forecasting and board presentations.

Chisholm will assume the role of Matthew Drake, MBA, CMA, FHFMA, who is transitioning from CFO into his new role as Kaleida Health’s executive vice president of strategy and partnerships.

Chisholm has spent the past 11 years with Rochester Regional Health elevating through the finance ranks. He began his career there in 2012 as the director of accounting and financial reporting. He moved into a director of financial planning, budgeting and analysis role then was named senior director of finance in 2015. He was promoted to vice president of finance in 2016 before being named to his current CFO of acute care hospitals role in 2019.

Prior to joining Rochester Regional Health, Chisholm spent six years in auditing roles with the accounting firm Fust Charles and Chambers in Syracuse, New York.

Chisholm has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John Fisher College.

He begins his new role with Kaleida Health on October 18.
