UnityPoint Health® – Fort Dodge Market President, Leah Glasgo, announced Linn Block has accepted the chief executive officer (CEO) position for Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH).
“On behalf of the UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge and Stewart Memorial Community Hospital, I am very pleased to announce Linn as the new CEO at SMCH,” says Leah Glasgo, Market President, UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge. “Linn is a Lake City native with tremendous healthcare leadership experience.”
Currently, Linn is the CEO at Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) and has served in the role since 2019. Linn has been in healthcare leadership for 18 years and a nurse for 32 years. During her time at MRHC, Linn worked to improve access to care while enhancing team member engagement. As a result, Linn was recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of 80 Rural Hospital CEO to Know in 2023 and her efforts helped MRHC earn a 2022 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for Employee Engagement.
