Five Minutes in Healthcare - featuring Jennifer Jordan

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | March 30, 2021
Jennifer Jordan
Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the novel coronavirus.

In this installment, I check in with Jennifer Jordan, director of mom and baby at Aeroflow Healthcare, to discuss ways that Medicaid may not be supporting women to the extent that is should. Many health plans adopted women's preventative benefits under the ACA but access is not always available under Medicaid due to limited coverage in certain states. Not only does this mean expectant mothers may not get the care they need, but it can also mean inferior outcomes and increased spending.

We hope you enjoy the conversation. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next:
