Five Minutes in Healthcare - featuring Dr. Jessica Zitter

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | December 16, 2020
Dr. Jessica Zitter
Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the novel coronavirus.

In this installment, I check in with Dr. Jessica Zitter, an advocate for humanism in medicine who practices critical and palliative care at a public hospital in Oakland, California. We discuss how we can integrate humanism more in healthcare and her new documentary, "Caregiver: A Love Story".

"Caregiver: A Love Story" follows Rick as caregiver to his wife, Bambi, as she spends the final weeks of her life at home in hospice care. It is meant to raise awareness about the support that healthcare and family caregivers require.

More information on the film can be found at https://caregiveralovestory.com/.

We hope you enjoy the conversation. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next:
