Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the last week I have had the pleasure of speaking to Rick Ferreira, Al Moretti, Hubert Zajicek, Ciara Webster and Ido Geffen. Each interview is approximately five minutes long, or a few minutes over five.

In this installment, I check in with Rick Ferreira, CEO of Innovative Health, about the importance of reprocessing in healthcare and the long-term challenges preventing greater adoption of reprocessing in the industry.

In this installment, I check in with health technology management industry veteran Al Moretti about the big picture evolution that has taken place with HTM and the role of health IT in shaping its future. We also discuss the guiding principles of the Clinical Engineering Association of Illinois (CEAI), the importance of the next generation of HTM leaders, and the impact of the pandemic on the organizations meetings and events.

In this installment, I check in with Dr. Hubert Zajicek, CEO and co-founder of Health Wildcatters, a Dallas-based accelerator for entrepreneur businesses. We discuss the services Health Wildcatters providers, as well as Dallas Startup Week, a free online event that is currently underway and supports entrepreneurs in a wide range of industries.

In this installment, I check in with Ciara Webster, director of support services and contract administration at BC Technical, who shares insights on how her company supports imaging facilities, the way service requests are processed, and how BC Technical has adjusted to the pandemic.

In this installment, I check in with Ido Geffen, vice president of product at CyberMDX, to discuss some of the biggest cybersecurity threats emerging during the coronavirus pandemic and what healthcare providers can do to mitigate them.

We hope you enjoy the videos. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next!
