Gamma Technologies Inc. Is Moving, Expanding, Hiring

Gamma Technologies Inc.

In one sense, it doesnt matter where Gamma Technologies Inc. calls home. As engineers, where our laptop goes, our company goes," said President David K. Moser. "I can hang my hat just about anywhere and decided to do it on the coast so we are moving to Topsail Island, N.C. It doesnt have any effect on anything except where architectural drawings will be shipped.

The company, now based in Ohio, plans to move by the end of November. Meanwhile, business is expanding as companies, including many DOTmed users, need firms with the expertise to prepare sites and suites for medical equipment installation.

Were a design/build firm focusing on healthcare facilities. So we basically support DOTmed users, Moser explained. Anytime a dealer sells equipment, they need documents to accompany that sale that will help the construction guys prepare the room for whatever equipment they sold. It doesnt matter if its diagnostic, imaging, treatment or surgery, were the guys at the other end that can design and build those suites or entire facilities. Thats why we are in touch with DOTmed because we go hand in glove.

With trends in healthcare toward satellite offices and surgery and imaging centers, Gamma Technologies, which has been in business since 1989, finds itself in greater demand. From full facilities to individual rooms for MRI or cath, Gamma Technologies can do it. Clients include hospitals, trauma centers, oncology practices, diagnostic imaging centers and other medical facilities, including veterinary clinics.

We are coming out of a small recession and we seem to be recovering nicely, Moser reported. Were really promoting the build side of the business so that were trying to erect entire clinics and many treatment or surgery centers or more complicated healthcare facilities. Were hiring, were expanding and were moving, that pretty much covers it.
