PETNET's CEO resigns

Siemens Molecular Imaging announced today that the CEO of PETNET Solutions Inc., Christoph Zindel, is resigning, and that it's effective today. Barry Scott, currently the vice president of product management and business development for PETNET, will be the new CEO starting tomorrow.

Zindel became CEO in the spring of 2012 and assumed responsibility for the development and manufacturing of the cyclotrons and chemistry devices, strategies for all of the businesses including intensive collaboration and negotiations with the pharmaceutical industry and also R&D, operations, marketing, quality and regulatory affairs, IP scouting and product portfolio management.

Siemens told DOTmed News that they "appreciate his contributions to the company and wish him the best."

Scott has been with Siemens for over 12 years and has held many key roles. Before he became vice president of product management and business development for PETNET, he was general manager of preclinical solutions for Siemens Healthcare. He was also the MI product portfolio manager and the PET marketing manager for Siemens Healthcare.
