The United Arab Emirates is
a growing Emergency Medical
Services market
The Emergency Congress provides emergency medical professionals an unparalleled opportunity to discuss current issues and examine key lessons learned from emergency medical knowledge worldwide. The dedicated exhibition that caters to the EMS, Trauma, and Accident & Emergency (pre and post) hospital care market, will feature over 50 exhibiting companies and over 1200 delegates and visitors who are expected to come to this huge and growing event.

The Emergency Congress 2006 consists of three conferences: Emergency Medical Services, Trauma and A& E Conferences, running alongside an exhibition, and is the region's premier congress that is a focused event targeting a niche audience.

Emergency Medical Services
In many parts of the region the Emergency Medical Services lack the sophistication of their European or North American counterparts. This has lead to a huge amount of recent investment in developing the Emergency Medical Services training and resources. The conference is an ideal opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products to their selected and targeted audience in an environment where the focus is on EMS.

The Emergency Medical Services Congress is an event dedicated to assisting companies who specialise in making the best and most advanced EMS systems, products and solutions in the region. In 2005, 17 international and regional speakers presented at the conference and was attended by 350 medical professionals, that's twice the number of delegates as 2004.

The 4th International Emergency Medical Congress will deliver hundreds of EMS managers in the process of developing their services. The conference will be structured to have extended networking opportunities for exhibiting companies. Exhibiting at EMS 2006 will ensure you meet the region's real decision makers.

Trauma
Injury and deaths due to road traffic accidents are a major public health problem and are the most common single cause of unintentional trauma. According to the 2005 report, "Road Traffic Accidents in the UAE compared to Western Countries", fatalities in the UAE per 100,000 vehicles are ten times higher than the UK, six times higher then the USA, and four times higher than Qatar. The first Trauma conference brought together a wealth of practical trauma management knowledge and research experience to the region. Over 300 delegates gathered at this inaugural event to hear presentations by 17 international and regional speakers.
