The Siemens health IT offerings will be hosted out of a data center that has been opened in the Cape Girardeau area and that will be known as Servir LLC. It will house information technology that will be used by both hospitals, and by physicians and clinics in the region.

"After an extensive vendor evaluation process our team concluded that Siemens Soarian was at least three years ahead of other systems we reviewed and this proved important as we were looking to implement a system that was going to meet the long term needs of the providers in our area," said Hugh King, vice president, regional system and CFO, Southeast HEALTH. "The nurses liked Soarian and the physicians loved it. After the extremely positive feedback from our clinical evaluators, Siemens further met our needs with a very competitive pricing offer. Soarian was the clear solution for our IT challenges."
