HOUSTON (August 11, 2011) - Women's Care Group in Springfield, Ore. recently chose Digisonics as the enterprise solution for their OB Ultrasound and GYN PACS and structured reporting needs. The Digisonics OB-View/OB-Windows system will be implemented at three facilities across the Women's Care Group network - Women's Care at Country Club, Women's Care at Riverbend and the Center for Genetics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

The Digisonics PACS and structured reporting system will provide users with access to high performance image review, comprehensive fetal growth analysis, professional reporting capabilities and a single clinical database for all OB/GYN studies. Users will also have full remote reading capabilities via OB-View Net, a web-based application that provides secure access to the entire OB/GYN PACS and structured reporting system.

Additional OBLink interfaces and HL7 interfaces will streamline connectivity between the Digisonics system and incumbent systems, improving the facility's overall clinical workflow. OBLinks will autopopulate patient demographics and measurements from the GE Voluson ultrasound machines directly into the Digisonics report, saving valuable data entry time and eliminating possible input errors. HL7 interfaces will connect the Digisonics system and the facility's GE Centricity system for Orders In and Results Out.
