The result is shown in the pictures. This unit is designed for commercial duty applications. Auto power on shredding. Continuous duty operation (compare with others). Though it shows many signs of wear, it has a great case and casters. We guarantee this machine to perform as we have described upon receipt.

About the machine
Marathon’s Rx Shredder quickly and efficiently destroys obsolete pharmacy documents, pill bottles, pressure-sensitive labels and other private information, according to the company. Its compact and portable design allows it to fit easily into pharmacies. The unit plugs into any standard outlet and operates at 65 decibels or fewer. The Rx Shredder offers dust-free operation and discharges into a 12-gallon self-sealing bag for convenience. The machine’s bolt-together design allows for the entire cutting chamber to be replaced in the event of a major breakdown from improper use
This machine has a HEPA air filtration system installed to collect dust and to protect the operator from inhaling fumes from material being destroyed. PERFECT for pharmaceutical waste destruction! Perfect for pill tabs, pill bottles, and sealed stored wasted can be efficiently and automatically and legally destroyed. It has a sensor (pictured) that senses when material is inserted in the chamber and the door closed, after which the machine starts, running the filter first, then grinding until gone and automatically stops. You can see the cut size in the waste bin as we have pictured it.
Maintenance - This machine uses off-the-shelf industrial USA made components, easy to source and non-proprietary. The cutting assembly should never ever fail, it is built for LIFETIME service. We do recommend regular oiling of the cutter block.

Return Policy
5 Day Return Policy. Free Return. If you receive an item that it not as described, you MUST contact us by email within 5 days to explain the situation. Please provide as much detail as possible and include pictures if you can. We will return email an authorization. You MUST get the return to us within 10 days of the authorization in order to be accepted. NO returns will be accepted unless authorized in advance and the incoming parcel has the approved RMA number clearly marked on the exterior of the package. See above. All shipping is at customer expense. All authorized returns must be sent to us via UPS or FedEX as USPS does NOT deliver to our address and will return them to the sender.
If the item you are returning is not defective, and you simply don't want it, this is referred to as a 'convenience return' and there will be a restocking cost of 25% to cover the time, labor, inventory work, sales effort and so on. Please keep this in mind before you purchase an item.
NOTE - some items are NOT returnable. This will include electronic boards, memory and related components that have been installed but have not been agreed to be defective. It is expected customer will contact us to report electronic component failures and that a troubleshooting process will ensue in which our personnel will govern procedure to confirm or deny component failure. If this has not occurred, there is no case in which we will assume financial responsibility for electrical part or components.
