While this device can often be confused for a TENS device, they are not the same. The Spectrum MICRO-1000 utilizes a separate electrical output and functions differently from TENS. It offers a selectable current range between 20 - 1000 µA, and a frequency range between 0.5 - 640 Hz. The generator supports 24 Karat gold plated electrodes, for either pad or probe treatments. Users can enjoy the portability of this device, as it weighs only 8 lb and includes a rechargeable battery pack when plug-in power is unavailable.
