This is a ductless fume hood formerly in use in a medical lab doing urine testing. The full model # is 550E. It seems to be in good working order passing all self-tests. It was certified until September 2015, retired in July, 2015 and was new in 2007. It was not treated well during the surplus process and has numerous scratches on the side panels. As well the frame metal on the bottom is rusted and in need of repair or replacement. The acrylic doors and viewing window and plastic backing covers are undamaged as are the lamps, filter covers, displays, controls and filters. I assume the current filters are set up for amonia.
This is a relatively expensive and high quality piece of eight year old lab equipment. It is a current product. With a little work it can be brought up to anyone's standard. It has applications is avariety of settings.

As stated this unit will require a major repair or replacement of the base on which it sits. The acrylic and fan/filtration components show cosmetic wear and appear quite serviceable as they are. Our pricing reflects these factors.
The manufacturer recommends recertification after significant movement. We have no history on the maintenance of this unit. It's last certification is affixed to it.
