The mistral 1000 has been designed to meet the present and future demands of routine and research laboratories. The control panel has been simplified to encompass situations where non-technical staff may be required to use the centrifuge. All that is needed is to enter parameters of speed and time - nothing could be simpler.

Although economical the Mistral 1000 still incorporates features found normally on more expensive models, including digital microprocessor control allowing run reproducibility and automatic rotor identification preventing operation beyond any rotor's safety limit.

Safety features include a steel guard ring, burst proof lid and lid interlock preventing lid opening whilst the rotor is rotating. An imbalance detector aborts a run if activated, thereby ensuring the safety of the centrifuge and user.
